Its been 84 years that loyal followers, friends and family have asked me to drop something. Anything. Unwillingly, I have built up an unreachable, untouchable persona. This comes with benefits but always with a lot of pressure. I have always been courageous in whatever I have done in my life but fashion has always been a part of me, never something I have tried hard to keep or achieve. I have always seen fashion from the outside and buying a dress or a suit never comes with pressure. You either like it or you don't. Creating something from scratch and putting your vision into paper always felt like a far reach, even though that idea has always stuck with me. I have also had my fair share of initiatives that have fallen short every time. Some because of personal insecurities and the rest due to other engagements. I am a firm believer in things coming to you at the right time so this collaboration with Cohl’s felt right from the beginning. I know what I like and I for sure know what looks good. They, on the other hand, are a large company with experience in the field of athleisure and could assist and offer their expertise on what I was lacking. Together we were a great match and I feel that this collection will showcase that.
